FoundingAston Martin was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The two had joined up with forces as Bamford & Martin the last year to sell cars manufactured by Singer from premises within Callow Street, London where they in addition serviced GWK and Calthorpe autos.
