FoundingAston Martin was launched in 1913 by Lionel Martin along with Robert Bamford. The two had joined forces as Bamford & Martin the previous year to sell cars created by Singer from premises with Callow Street, London where they furthermore serviced GWK and Calthorpe motor vehicles.
